QBG will present an exhibition of plants and books during the conference.

The Third International Forum of the Qur’anic Botanic Garden will be held on February 25, 2025, coinciding with Qatar Environment Day. It will be held under the title “The Role of Plant Conservation in Enhancing Biodiversity and Environmental Preservation” and feature the participation of renowned local and international experts. They will engage in comprehensive discussions covering contemporary topics as well as opportunities in the field of biodiversity and environmental conservation. The forum will be held with simultaneous live interpretation in both Arabic and English.
In light of the growing environmental challenges facing our planet, this forum is an ideal opportunity to explore how we can collectively protect the environment and raise awareness about the importance of plant conservation. Plants are the lifeblood of our planet’s natural ecosystems, as they maintain food webs for living organisms, preserve soil fertility, and mitigate the impact of climate change. This forum’s agenda is based on an innovative vision that combines scientific principles, modern techniques, and ethics in the sustainability of biodiversity.
